Coastal Communities Fund: Round 5 - To support the economic development of coastal communities by promoting sustainable economic growth and jobs

Sea-Changers - Small grants for projects to address marine conservation threats and challenges, including marine litter (next deadline: 31 March 2018)

Baldwins KickStart Fund - Business competition for young entrepreneurs

Returners Fund - For projects to support people returning to employment after a career break to take on a caring responsibility

Communities Together Fund - To encourage communities in Devon to work together to identify new ideas for their mutual benefit

Devon Emergency Community Flood Resilience Fund - To help Devon communities be better prepared in the event of flooding

TDS Charitable Foundation - Grants to advance knowledge about housing rights and obligations among tenants and landlords in the private rented sector

The promised meeting took place in the village hall on 20th March, supported by 22 members of the public and 5 parish councillors.
The good news is that a Steering Committee has been nominated & agreed, consisting of 7 members of the public and 4 parish councillors. They will meet on 1st May, supported and guided by Martin Rich of Devon Communities Together, to decide further actions to develop and agree a new Plan covering 2018-31.
Committee members are (in no particular order):Parishioners – David Heywood, John Hector, Barry Noakes, Jo Lloyd, Alan Sutton, Paul Davies, Steve Harding; Parish Councillors Barbara Babb, Andrew Hewitt, Elisa Hurley, David Watson.
