The Parish Council owns about 20 acres of land, most of which was conveyed to it by Lord Clinton in 1910. The fields are available for agricultural use only on farm business tenancies.

Part of Blackhorse Fields is used as allotments. The Council manages 18 plots, 6 of which are half-sized plots. They are available to rent to parishioners at £15.00 per year for a full plot or £10.00 for a half-plot, plus deposits.

Plot 2 will become available in the near future so please contact the Parish Clerk if you are interest in that one.

On Saturday 9th December 2017 there will be an allotments clear up day to trim the hedges and tidy the communal paths. Everyone is welcome to pitch in. See poster.

Allotment Holders' Meetings: The latest meeting was held on Monday 20th February, at Buckland Brewer School. These meetings are held every so often and give allotment holders an opportunity to meet some of the councillors and share any concerns.

Allotment's Sub-Committee: At its meeting on 11th October 2017, the Parish Council established an Allotment's Sub-Committee, which comprises Councillors Elisa Hurley, Andrew Hewitt, and Trevor Mills, and one allotment holder, Chris Kaminski. The first meeting of the sub-committee was held on 26th October 2017. The minutes can be downloaded here. There will be 3 meetings a year in future.
